Acceptable Use & Anti-Abuse Policy
MailerToGo delivers legitimate transactional email. To protect the inbox — and the sending reputation every customer shares — we actively prevent abuse of the service. This policy covers what’s acceptable and what happens when it isn’t, and works alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
MailerToGo is for authenticated transactional and operational email sent to recipients who expect it. You may not use it to send or facilitate:
- Spam, or mail to purchased, harvested, or otherwise non-consented lists
- Phishing, spoofing, or impersonation
- Fraud, malware, or deceptive content
- Anything illegal, or that harms deliverability for other senders
Sending must comply with applicable law (such as CAN-SPAM, CASL, and the GDPR) and with mailbox-provider policies.
How we protect the platform
- Verify first. New accounts start in a sandbox; live delivery unlocks only after domain verification and account approval.
- Monitor continuously. Automated trust signals — domain integrity, engagement, and account identity — flag risky activity. These are indicators, not accusations, and can be appealed.
- Restrict when warranted. Flagged or out-of-standing accounts may be placed under review, restricted, or suspended; while restricted, mail may be held rather than delivered.
- Terminate confirmed abuse. Spam, phishing, or fraud ends the account, and we may keep a limited record so a terminated abuser cannot simply re-register.
Legal cooperation
Where warranted and in accordance with applicable law, we may cooperate with valid legal process, law enforcement, and recognized anti-abuse organizations, and may disclose or retain information where required or permitted by law.
Reporting and appeals
To report abuse — or to appeal a restriction you believe is mistaken — contact us with the relevant details (including full message headers for abuse reports). Trust and standing decisions are automated safeguards, not final judgments, and we’ll review them.
Effective as of July 12, 2026.
